If you’ve clicked here, you’re obviously interested in learning a little bit more about the author behind this little blog, so here goes!
Well if you hadn’t gathered already, my name is Carly Dove, hence the clever name for this blog!
The blog started out on a traditional Blogger platform back in 2009. At that time I was living in San Diego, California, had just gotten a brand new lap top, and was excited to start a new project with it. The blog was a bit more product heavy then, as I often reviewed and endorsed some of my favorite things. That original blog can still be viewed here in case you are interested.
Now, at a most basic level, I use the blog as a place to curate and collect things I love. I’ve used it to feature my own personal photos and writing, and feature others work when something really makes me feel something, whether it be joy, melancholy, inspiration, etc.
Since the blog first started back in California, I have moved to the United Kingdom, and I am currently living in the northeast of England. I’m a recent Master’s graduate, having gotten my MA here in Public Relations.
In addition to having a passion for PR, I love social media, travel, design and photography, and I hope that comes across on this dove’s nest.
